We had a wonderful day this past Sunday. Our church meets in a Christian school in Vienna, so we don't have our own facilities...which means no baptistry. That's not a problem when you are so conveniently located next to one of the most famous rivers in the world...the blue Danube! (Cue the orchestral music now!) On Sunday morning I was telling Jeremy how cool would it be to say you were baptized in the Danube. I didn't realize how accurate I was...I think the water WAS ridiculously cold.
Don't let the people in short sleeves fool you...that water was frigid! If you want to see a video of that day (and the Baptism-ees' responses to the cold water), you know we always deliver!
Speaking of Eli, he is doing great! He is becoming quite the squirmer and rolling all over the place (even though I still haven't seen it in person). I'm beginning to think tiny Tummy Time Trolls come out when I leave the room and flip him over. I've even set up the video camera and let it roll for almost 30 minutes trying to catch the booger in action. I'm tell you, those Trolls are smart! :o) He's also recently discovered his tongue...what a great day that is for everyone. He sticking it out and curling it up constantly now. He's looks like my little lizard! I wish I could say he's back to sleeping through the night, but alas, no. Hopefully this will change soon! However, he was perfectly content sleeping in his stroller when walking around the block for the first time today. Apparently, the neighborhood wasn't exciting enough for him!
We finally finished the house today!! Whoo hoo!! I'll try to get on and post some pictures tomorrow. In the meantime, please enjoy some more recent photos by clicking here!
