Yesterday I found the ONLY exersaucer sold in Austria. I'm not really sure why...they sell hundreds of walkers, but no exersaucers. I didn't want to buy a walker because of all the potential hazards to your child. The AAP has actually called for a ban on walkers...crazy huh? (read here for more info) I like the idea of him getting exercise, but still being "stationary" for now. He seems to love it too!
He is absolutely mesmerized by these lights. He is slowly understanding how to turn them on, so he can be dazzled by them once again!
We had a pediatrician appointment today, and it went well! He weights 15 lbs. 7 oz., and she says he's ready for solids now! It looks like we'll be on the hunt for a high chair. It ought to be interesting seeing how he responds to solids for the first time. I'll be sure to get some pictures when it happens...probably some video too as long as there is no projectile cereal! This appointment also proved how lovable Eli is. The doctor just went on and on about how cute and talkative he is, and how she could look at him all day. (ummm, isn't that what you do for a job?) And when we were leaving, she asked if she could just hold him for a while. Isn't that sweet? She also told us that after our last appointment, the people waiting in the lobby to be seen next commented on how jealous they were of our happy baby. They could hear him laughing through the door! :o) We knew we had a good one!
He's been a little unhappy today because he got three vaccinations. I think he doesn't feel very good. I was trying to get a picture of his boo-boos on his legs, and it ended up turning into a full photo session. His face is just so sweet!
Have a happy weekend everyone, and be sure to get your mommies something nice! :o)

Good morning...I happened to be on the computer before taking Gracie to school this morning and she HAD to see a pic of baby Eli! She loves looking at your posts but for some reason she insisted on seeing a picture of him "sleeping". She must think his parents need it or something...child intuition I suppose:) Thank goodness I scrolled down far enough and found one! have a good one..Gracie & Michelle
